Restorasi ekosistem adalah suatu upaya mengembalikan kondisi hutan dengan tujuan memperoleh kembali keanekaragaman hayati, struktur, dan lainnya di hutan produksi
Terobosan baru ini memungkinkan dilakukannya upaya restorasi hutan dalam kawasan hutan produksi. Pertama kali dalam sejarah kehutanan Indonesia, ada kebijakan yang memungkinkan hutan produksi tidak ditebang dalam jangka waktu tertentu. Melalui restorasi ekosistem, hutan alam produksi diharapkan akan berfungsi kembali sebagai penyeimbang ekosistem, baik biotik maupun abiotik.
Untuk memperingati Hari Lingkungan Hidup (HLH) masyarakat pendidikan disurabaya ikut serta memperingati HLH yang diadakan oleh Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Pemerintah Kota Surabaya dengan Tema LOMBA ASIH TERAMPIL 2021 VIRTUAL “RESTORASI EKOSISTEM”.

SD Ta’miriyah mengikutsertakan dua kelompok dengan berbeda judul yaitu “DIET SAMPAH PLASTIK” dan “GERAKAN POHON ANTI PAKU” yang diuploud di Youtube SD Ta’miriyah.
